Did you know that there are many food items that are harmful or even toxic to dogs? While some foods may only cause discomfort or an upset stomach, there are foods that are so toxic to dogs that even a small amount of it can be fatal.

As a dog owner it is good to be aware of basic foods that we might have at hand in our homes and that should not be given to our dogs. For example, many people love chocolate and grapes, but these are some of those food items that should never enter a dog’s mouth.

Here is a list of some food items that are said be harmful to dogs according to my research. Always research if a food item is OK to give to a dog, before giving it.
